  • 4 Welded Stainless Steel Bar Burners for years of even heating...

Another great from another excellent brand. Bull has been in the grilling space for a long time and has repeatedly managed to produce high-quality grills that have stood out in terms of performance and design. The Bull Outdoor Lonestar is a good example of such a grill.

With a total of 60 000 BTUs, 4 stainless steel burners and dual lighting system and ReliaBULL technology engineered by Bull themself.

ReliaBULL is a technology that helps to distribute the heat evenly throughout the surface of the grill, preventing cold spots from occurring during your meal prepping. There are a few customers at amazon who have found the effects to be lacking, but I found it to be working exceptionally throughout my tests. To avoid being unpleasantly surprised if you get a badly manufactured grill I would take it through a test run before you mold it into your porch.

In addition to the power and well engineering heating sources, you get a smoker box included with the purchase. I enjoyed this featured and was a pleasant surprise when I unboxed the grill.

In terms of the space, you have a total of 810 square inches of cooking space which is very similar to the Napoleon LEX and Lion Premium.

With this grill you get everything you need at a good price, it performed excellently in my test, but because of the bad reviews, I decided to take it down from the second to third spot on this list.

If you want the propane version you can find it here

I just couldn’t make a top 10 list without a weber grill, they are my favorite brand and is my go-to when I am looking for an upgrade. I guess I am a bit biased towards them, but I will try my best to not letting that affect this review so let’s take a closer look.

The Weber Summit S-460 is a versatile and well put together grill offering a versatile and practical cooking solution. Featured with a sear Burner, steel smoker box, and an infrared rear-mounted rotisserie burner you are ready to make a good tasting meal, fast and easy.

Each burner has its own adjustment knob and BTU value suited for its own grilling style. With all weber grill, you have the popular flavouriser bar included which is very popular because of added juice and flavor it adds to the meal. When you grill there are aromas flying around inside the grill, instead of realizing it the weber bar stores the aromas and flavors and injects it into the grill during the grilling.

When you invest in a grill you want it to last for a long time, with Webers warranty you can know with certainty that your investment will last you for years, if not they got you covered.

In terms of installation, I recommend you to pay the fee of around 70$ to amazon since the installation can be time-consuming and complicated if you prefer to do it yourself you can totally do that as well. The grill comes with natural gas burners, so if you prefer to have the propane version you should send a message to the supplier to ensure that you get the gas type you want.

The weber is built of high-quality materials, powerful burners and is a great grill for the money. I am sure you will have a few guests coming over just to check out your grill because I truly would because the weber is a true masterpiece.

  • Made from porcelain enamel coated cast-iron, one of the toughest...

Most grills I have tested are shiny and silver, so I decided to find something different and the Beefeater caught my eyes. It has a black design that I like and overall it has nice specs and features.

The Beefeater is porcelain coated making it more durable and rust-resistant. As you can see in the picture its equipped with a see-through glass on the top which was a pleasant surprise. I love this feature since it gives you the option to check on your food without having to release the heat that has been staring up inside the grill.

In addition to this, the top can be removed making it into a flat top grill resulting in a  better overview and hand space.

It’s clear to me that BeefEater has just closed the curtains, instead of looking at what everyone else is doing they asked themself what would they like? and made that product.

It has creative solutions and features resulting in a great grill for a low price. In terms of heat, there is nothing else to say that, great! It distributes the heat evenly and the max temperature is higher than what any griller would need.

I would go as far as saying that this is one of the best budget grills I have tested so far on this blog, I love it.

What to Look for When Purchasing a Grill

When you are going to frame a grill you better be sure that it is a good one, so let’s take a look at the requirements and parts I check during my vetting process.

Before you decide on a grill you have found yourself it’s smart to check both youtube, reviews, and forums to see what other people have said about the product. Especially when it comes to built in grills choose the right one the first time is of high priority.

Size

Now when you choose what grill to buy you need to decide on what size you want. I can’t really recommend one size fit all here, but my thumb rule is 500 square inches for an average family in America.

500 square inches is more than enough for most people, but if you are regularly hosting bigger parties and gatherings you should look into bigger options since these will make it easier for you to prep all the food in a short time span and with less stress.

Power

This is the most important part, there is no need for a huge cooking space if you dont enough power and burners to heat up the whole surface evenly and to an optimal temperature.

There is no downside of having to much power, just too little. If you have too few burners you won’t have a good heat distribution across the surface resulting in cold spots and unevenly cooked food… not optimal.

My rule of thumb in terms of power is 1 burner per 200 square inches of cooking space this rule will be different depending on the power output of the grill, but I have found this rule to do the trick in most scenarios.

When it comes to the power you need from each burner I recommend 100 BTU per square inch of cooking space. You will find that most burners produce a range of 10 000 – 17 000 BTU depending on the brand and quality.

With these calculations, you should be set to pretty much pick any grill and be sure that it works.

Does it have a flavorizer or an equivalent?

Having a flavorizer is an ideal feature to have in your grill, all weber grills have this feature included and it makes a huge difference in the food and taste.

What a flovaroizer does is storing the aromas and juices flying around in the grill, storing them and then injecting the juices back into the grill during your cooking session resulting in a great tasting meal with no taste spilled.

I highly recommend you look for this when you are looking for a grill if you are purchasing a weber grill you can be close to 100% sure that it has one at least on the bigger grill products.

Price

Another aspect of the grill you should take a close look at is the price. We all have different budgets and you should set one before you go hunting for a grill. The price is not always the deciding factor if the grill is great or not, I have found several low-cost grills outperforming expensive once, it all comes down to quality and how it’s built.

I recommend you to stick to the 1300-2000$ range since this is where you will get most for your money, I have found most grills under this range to be a bit cheap and lacking in features and durability. On the opposite side, more expensive grills will give you a notch better quality and features, but not necessarily worth the price in some cases.

Last Words

I hope you found this article helpful, I tested a bunch of built-in gas grills and I am pretty satisfied with this best built-in grill list. If you found it helpful and helped you in the search for a new grill then let me know and if there were anything I missed or models that you think I should have included then feel free to send me an e-mail and I will take a closer look.
